What’s worse than a flat, one note delivery of your lines as an actor? Have you ever heard the note \”your acting needs more levels\”? If so you may have an idea what they are talking about but you may have no inkling how to fix it. I’m going to help you out with that.

How do you become a really great actor? What is great acting? What makes an actor really good? 

It all comes down to nuances. Allowing nuances in your acting makes you real and human. Constantin Stanislavski said, “The person you are is a thousand times more interesting than the best actor you could ever hope to be.”

Nuances equals levels. Think of the piece you are doing as a rollercoaster with its twists and turns, not a freight train barreling down a flat track.
