It is vital for every actor alive to understand the Structure of Drama. Why is that? Because Drama – both Comedy and Tragedy – is a very specialized type of literature. Within Drama is always conflict. If a piece does not have conflict it is a poem or a piece of passive prose or an essay, or a very badly written script (and you should run from it.)
